I saw a commercial for CarMax where they said they purchase vehicles. Does anyone know how this works? Is it a clean sale? Or do they come in under blue book value for the car?

Does anyone have any recommendations on how/where to sell my Maxima and get what it's worth?

They are usually around the wholesale value of the car, maybe a few hundred $ more than a dealer might offer you. As far as the sale, there is ~$150 transfer fee. Just to give you an example, they offered me $18,500 a month ago for a loaded 8 month old 2k SE (9.6kmi) with all options (except Meridian pkg) in perfect condition. I think you would do better selling it yourself.

 

Has anyone sold or purchased through eBay Motors? Any thoughts on it?
