You have a black car, so I guess black would look good... I used to think that red with black cars would look good, or even red with my majestic blue... but that opinion has changed since... red just doesn't look so good to me now... esp not on my blue Max... who knows? I may change my mind again...

And my calipers are not painted so I have no pics... I never could decide on a color... haha...

I've had the G2 Paint for two months now but haven't been able to paint because I only have a set of jack stands....I'm pretty sure you have to have the whole car up right?? How did you guys with the G2 paint apply it?

Two wheels at a time maybe? That's what I'd think... since it doesn't take that long to dry.... or maybe you can just borrow another pair of jack stands.....

I'm going to paint both my front and rear 300zx calipers gold. Some people say it's cheesey for trying to make them look like Brembos, but camn those brakes look so hot.

Just some food fo rthought, but you can use also the High Temp Engine enamel from walmart. I used black on mine (high gloss) and it works really well with some clearcoat. I paid like $5.00. Doesn't give off the really thick look like the G2 kit but I'm happy. Also sprayed the pads silver so it gives it a nice contrast.

BTW, i like ur rims, haven't seen to many of them on here haha

Where did you buy the G2 paint and how difficult was the paint job?

I think I am going to go with the silver...I think black will not be seen at all perhaps. I like the G2 paint, but dam 50 buxs for paint!!! I might try some cheap hi temp paint first like ChromeSE5 suggested first just to see how that goes, if its crap I will get the G2 kit....

one wheel at a time is fine....it doesn't dry THAT fast, you have an hour or three before it dries....

i fyou have jack stands, do a couple of coats on the front first, carefully put the wheels back on and go to the back.

When i did mine with the G2 kit, the paint started to setup after maybe three hours. It got pretty hard to work with so I was glad that I did the front first.

BTW Deffinately go with the silver. It looks great! Ive got a couple of pics on my site if you want to look.

haha exacty, its like i wanna do it because it'll stand out and not just be a rust clip, but at the same time i dont wanna see a ricey max in my driveway. Thought about exchanging it for black but then thats too plain... silver is kinda wack wit chromes... white would be hot but that doesnt work... and everything elsei dont think would match a blue max... WHY is this soo hard!!

Yea, I thought the same, If I had a BMW or some other luxury sport car with some beefy calipers I wouldnt mind red calipers on a black car, would not be ricey then. But on a Maxima with the wimpy calipers I am going with gray just to keep a low profile on them, but anything will look better than the rust I have on them now!

IMO, Red only looks good on BBK. our tiny calipers look ricey painted red, especially with 18"+ wheels

1998 Cobra 13" rotors. Z32 4 piston alumin calipers 1998 Ford Cobra wheels 17x8 no spacers needed to clear the brakes. Which is nice and the reason I run them.
