New Personal Best at the Track...14.003!!!

Had a chance to take the car to the track last night. Blubyu2k2 was up from NC so we decided to head to the track. We had over 1/2 a dozen runs but the best of the night was:

60' - 2.134
330 - 5.898
1/8 - 8.993
MPH - 80.47
1000 - 11.703
1/4 - 14.003
MPH - 97.83

Best MPH of the night was 98.42. All the other runs were 14.0XX. We are both pretty confident that this car can dip into the 13's with a better run. We got the runs on video and hopefully he can post when he gets back to NC. This was done on my 18" street tires.

Nice numbers. I almost made it down but my paint project wasn't going as expected and I promised the old lady I'd finish it up this weekend. What air intake setup are you running these days? BTW, I saw you drive by me on SI the other day. You're exhaust setup sounds nice.

VB Mod is a great mod for extending the life of the tranny and improving shift speed, however it has very little or no effect on 1/4 mile times.

Not sure about the stage three but I personally feel the Stage 2 has very little effect on my 1/4 mile times

id think the VB mod would help tho, quicker shifts rather then slush slides into gear, the shift kit on my bird def lowered my times

what mods do you have done to your max?

There is no way you are dropping a .5 second off your quartermile from the VB. I would estimate that you get about .1 drop in quartermile times. Maybe a little less.
