Can this Changer Fit my Glove Box
Can this Changer Fit my Glove Box
Hi, I am considering installing my Clarion HeadUnit (ARX7570) and Changer (CDC 655Z) in my 2002.
I am thinking of putting the changer in the glove box.....can it fit.. the dimension is around : 8-15/16 x 2-9/16 x 6-5/8 (W x H x D), and a picture is available at the bottom of this page:

also, what is the brand and dimension of the stock speakers.....i have the non-bose audio system in the car.
thanks - Noela

yes, i have the older model, but couldn't find the dimensions ready at hand, hence used the newer model - which is strikingly similar to the old...but it is the older one i want to fit...
when i go home this evening, i will remove it from the old max, and measure it....and probably try and see it i can fit in the glove box of the 2002.
do you know of any known impediments to fitting it in the glove box...for e.g, i couldn't fit there in my1991 GXE because i learnt right behind the glove box or tubes/vents for the air conditioning or sometime to do with the climate control, hence it would be subject to a lot of heat there...so, any thoughts on that...?
cheers - Noela
