Im new to this forum so let me first apoligize if anything im about to ask is stupid or has already been covered. My roomate has a 88 maxima and recently broke the rear strut so im trying to help him out. He was driving and hit a curb and it looks like the strut snapped a little right where it connects to the hub and was leaking whatever fluid is contained in the strut. What I cant figure out is how to remove the it. On my car there are the 4 bolts up top and then 2 bolts at the bottom that connect it to the hub but on the maxima i cant see anything that connects to the bottom. If anyone can give me a link to a writeup of how to remove and replace that would be great. If there are no writeups then any other help would be appreciated.
