has anyone have gotten their clears stolen before?
i think it happened between 12am and 5am, it was parked in front of my friends apartment. but the funny thing is they only took one and with out the polarg bulb. you can see the little scratch he made when he took the thing out. Damn thieves, i wish i didnt have to live without worrying about my sidemarkers being stolen... they only cost 24 bucks, just buy the damn thing. it was probalby another maxima guy.

 

That sucks. I hate people that can't respect someone else's property.

 

How cheap do you have to be to steal those? Seriously, that's just pathetic.

seems to me it was a fellow maxima owner who had clear side markers. he probably broke one and didnt wanna by the front set. that it the only explination i can think of for only stealing one. either that are someone who was gonna steal all four but heard someone coming and ran with the one he had gotten off.

You're also lucky that he didn't clip the entire light assembly. Bastards....If I ever caught someone doing that to my car... it would be pulp fiction over again. "I'll call my ****** ova with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch..then we'll go mid-evil on his ***"...

That happenned to me two years ago when I was living in the dorms. I hope whoever took them gets VD.

 

yea good thing he didnt take the headlights, seems like maxima lighting parts are easliy stolen,head lights and side markers, but iver never heard of people stealing side markers, right now i have one orange side marker on my car, looks weired, all clear but one. i just hope that it doesnt happen again...

It happend to me 3 weeks ago, you luck they only took your clear, as for me they yank the whole thing (clear, bulb,wires) and left only scratches on my max

 

they steal sh*T for fun ...... dam theives got nothing else better to do

the valve stems are even worse...i mean, these things are $4! kids on bikes steal the chrome ones that we but on to match our rims, i mean, what the hell? yeah, they are only $4 for us to buy again, but thats $4 five different times. morons.

I see that happen a lot in NYC and i think Ammi is right thats its another max owner. Ive heard people trying to use some type of glue to try to deter thieves from stealing but it might just cause more damage. Either way man glad nothing else happened to your ride and hope everything works out.

 

I'd keep a good eye on your max. Now that they took the clear sides, they might try to come back for the HIDs. That really sux man

 

I had my clears stolen, but just the front left. The funniest part was that it was the one that was leaking, and it had like half full of water in it.

And the best part, NO DAMAGE, he even tucked in the connector and harness and made it all neat and tidy!

This one already happened to me two weeks after i got the car. Scratched the hell out of my rim when the thief took the center caps also.

you sick twisted bastard, ive been thinking of doing this 2 lol, as for the car thing, i upgraded the horns to the hella twin supertone horns and relocated them so they cannot be cut through the grill. and i have a Louisville slugger sitting by my door waiting for that alarm to go off.
