Why not do side skirts and tails with that too! You can get black duct tape to apply it! This is a Maxima not a Gremlin! Maxima's are proudly made in Japan with outstanding quality and technology and you want to throw on some $3 floor edging from home depot! I can understand if you are low on cash, but why not save the $3 and go this route!

I'm pretty sure if you guys didn't know it was cheap from Home Depot, ppl would be all over this. If stillen threw this on their site and sold it for 200 unpainted, nobody could tell the difference.

That actually looks pretty damn good, and saves a crapload of money too. This is just another way to be money efficient when ppl dont have 200+ for a front lip. You could scrap the crap out of it and it still wouldn't matter.

If you're beating down on this idea, then its the same to say that homemade red/clears are crap.

Nissan is proudly made in Japan and blah blah blah, but everyday we continue to devalue our cars by putting crap on it. Again, if ppl saw this on a stillen site, nobody would be crapping on it.

Come on! What are you blind? ( and if you are I apologize not meaning to be discrimatory) Even from where the above picture is taken at least 15 feet away you can tell it's floor edging!!!, back in July or so when this came up and there were posts all over about this you could tell what it was, the original postee didn't say what it was just asked what people thought, some loved it others hated it but most quickly guessed what it was and the orginal pic wasn't as clear as the one above! To each their own don't get me wrong everyone has their own tastes and likes /dislikes thats what drives the mods aftermarket and we are all entitled to our opinions. If you like it, have it and are happy with it then who cares what others think, I know I live by that, but this is a "forum" and forums are all about opinions.

You are guilty of extremly bad taste and any man whos been in a hardware store would know what that is. If I saw that on a car I would laugh my *** off.

Your sentence?

Sell your max and get a civic for you are shunned!

pics on my 95, mine has absolutely no flex when driving, but if it touches the ground it will bend enough to let me get by without breaking, its a nice simple, easy mod, and dont hate because some people want a lip and dont want to spend 200 dollars for it to shatter or have to be repainted every 6 months.

I will admit when i first saw the lip on the car at my school I knew what it was immediately, but I thought it was a cool idea.

uhh im calm I was just suprised that you said that I "gave up on it" when I never said anything like that.

It was $3, took 10 min to put on, and it made me happy. I will never see what the big deal over it is...if ppl like it they like it but if they hate it they will continually force their opinion on you..
