o2 sensor install

I just got an 02 sensor for my 87. I wanted to make sure i didn't have to know anything special about switching it in. so far, i think i just unscrew the old and repeat in reverse with the new one..

yeah its easy, I guess the only thing I would recomend is disconnecting the battery when you do it since it has an electrical connection (probably not necessary though)

you'll need a 7/8" wrench or deep socket. there are special oxygen sensor sockets you can buy that have a notch for the wire. auto zone also loans em out for free.

they also say it's easier to do it after driving the car cos the exhaust pipe and sensor will be hot, and therefore the metals will not be expanded, and will be easier to remove. but other than that, it's just like replacing a spark plug.
