New here !!!!

Hey,

My names Cardea and I'm new here on the forums(DUH). I just got a 90' Maxima(EMACULATE) as a gift from a friend of my moms. It's tanish-gold with black interior. I have the VG30e as the powerplant and well planning on making it a VG30et..soon ! So I figured I'd stick my head in and say what's up !

Are you saying you want to turbo your VG motor? If so... good luck with that I haven't seen anyone do that yet. I've seen a few turbo VE30DEs(190hp) 3rd gens but no VG(160hp).

Oh yea...welcome to the org. Don't ask to many dumb questions and you'll be aright. jk

then you havent looked hard enough. there are a couple of people here with turbo VG 3rd gens. Nissan even made it for them. the 85-89 300zx turbos had VG30ETs.

do you know how to tell them apart?

if not, the SEs have black mirrors (GXEs have body colored) and dics brakes in the rear (GXEs have drums). there are a few others, but I cant think of them right now.

Well I'm not at the house right now,but I'm pretty sure the mirrors are black and my friend is tellin me the same thing. I will know for sure when I check again tommorow. Does the INTIRE mirror have to be black, or just a strip on it ?
