sounds like a good deal. Should be a direct plug & play as long as your Max is a '98-'99 since '98s started the digital odo.
If you have a '95-'97, then you would have to do some rewiring since it is not a direct pnp.
I know someone swapped a '98-'99 cluster, rewired a few things in the dash, and hooked up a mileage simulator machine
to match up his miles w/ his old cluster
