I bought the changer from eBay but it didn't come with the Harness. I've called around to various Nissan dealerships, Nissan Customer Relations, Crutchfield, Premier Audio Clarion... this harness is not available standalone. Does anyone have any suggestions?

For those of you guys who have the changer, I have a question. In the trunk of my car on the left side, near where the changer would mount, there is a wiring bundle there that runs somewhere into the quarter panel. The right side doesn't have that wire. What is that wire? Where does it run? It isn't a tucked CD wiring harness is it?

Any info is appreciated.

The car usually isn't prewired for the CD changer, but just check to see if that wire has an open plug. If you can trace the wire, it should run from the mounting spot to above the cutout for the back seat leading into the trunk and down the right hand, passenger side of the car along the interior kick panels and up to the radio via the top of the front passenger foot area.

Unless the wire bundle you are looking at has at least 8 wires, this is not a harness for the CD changer. Also, you can look behide the Bose unit to see if there are two unsed connectors just hanging. Those plug into the Bose unit for the CD changer.

I bought the changer from Courtesy Nissan a while back... The car isn't wired, so you have to take out the passenger seat and stuff in order to hide the wire. I believe that you can order the install kit from them or even Southpoint Nissan (??) and have them send it to you, as it includes the wiring harness. Good luck on the install, it's a real pain in the you know what...

I've got that harness kit in stock, it runs about $80.00.
