and buying mods will have you not paying your monthly car payments so you'll have to sell crack to keep the car.

That was my first also. I think its most peoples first thing they do.
And yes it is addicting!! Just do it like this, one mod a month unless its a big one then 3 months. Or your closet will fill up with boxes cause you will have no time to install them. Turst me, im living proof. There are at least 6 or 7 things that i have yet to install.

seriuosly it starts out as a hobby, then slowly but surly youve relized its an addiction, then an obsession. Then u try and sell your girlfriend on ebay for Mod money or an even trade for an SP2.

And i dont know what people are talkign about waiting to install. Theres never been a mod that went uninstalled for more then a day for me. The second i get one i get to work even its a rediculous hour at night

My Opinion

when i was 16 I had a civic. Did normal things, lowered it, rims, intake etc. few month later, totaled it. I quit messing with cars.

I'm 18 now and bought my very own first car. my first issue was the KS. so i jumped on the internet and found this site. This site is an addicition all in itself. i went to the how to page and printed every freaking post. and slowly, 3 months later i;ve already gone through more money than i have any of my cars. this site is the cause of addiction. its the supplier of the "crack". i started with the audio system and now am working on the exhaust. i;ve changed the lights and etc.

you know you have a problem when you start making up your own stupid mods. lets just say my door lights are now monogramed with my initials. thanks alot whoever posted the Domelight mod. i took it a step further. lol.

and by the way. beware of Ebay. i bought 30 LED lights and now i ended it up with more than 200. i got bit by the Mod bug. LOL

I got Red/Clears, DC's, then tint. I haven't really been wanting to do anything else. I guess I just haven't gotten bit by the bug. No need to spend thousands on gas-guzzling engine mods to make my car go faster.

good stuff! I can't wait to start modding mine as well too .. few things 1) I gotta make sure everything is in top form on my Max, and 2) that I'm in a decent financial situation ... my mods during '05 will be step-by-step & i'll keep it clean looking as well too
