ive been drivin on my new exedy for about 500 miles now.....they other day i was driving it alittle harder just to test out the performace difference betwen stock and aftermarket....after i shifted at higher rpms a couple times....i noticed that the shifting isnt as knotchy anymore (driving back to normal).....is it cuz i wore it in faster or did i hurt it?

You know when there's at least 500 more miles on the ODO than there were the day you put the clutch in. If you want to be cautious like I will be with a new clutch, wait at least 1k miles before getting on it.

milage does not include highway miles. YOu must get 500 miles of stop and go driving. I have had two ACT clutches, one that was broken in good, one that was not. The one that was properly broken in drove just like stock, the other drove like complete a$$.

you usually don't have to break in an OEM replacment

Is this true?? I got an OEM replacement clutch 250 miles ago, and I've been going easy on it ever since because of things I've heard on the org. I was planning on going for 500 miles before getting on it, but if this is true I can finally let loose!

well it can not hurt, but I am pretty sure that the breakin periods that you have heard about involve aftermarket clutches.
