My car makes a funny noise when turning....

Hi ppl. I am the 2nd owner of my 5.5 gen Max. My car recently makes a squicky noise on the passenger side every time I turn left. Sounds like my old sofa when I sit on it. Is my shocks messed up??? Also when my car go over bumps, it's not as smooth as I expected. It's very hard to explain, just make it simple, it's crap for a luxury car like this. Anyone has any suggestion of some great suspension systems. replies and comments is appreciated. Thanks

sounds like a bad/blown strut OR the spring isolator is loose/missing. Do you have an SE model maxima? The SE has a "firmer" ride than the GXE/GLE and I've heard many refer to it as "harsh" (though I disagree). But if the ride is unusually poor, a bad strut is probably the culprit. Known to happen on the front end of the maxima (I had one replaced when the car had 35K miles when my suspension was still stock)....

Could also be bad sway bar links. Look at those first. Cheaper to replace than struts. Either way, good luck. I've had this problem since 10k miles and have almost 60k now. Can't afford to replace parts on a poorly designed front end.
