I'm looking at the FSM now and it says P0705 ( MIL 1101) deals with Inhibitor swich (in english - this is your Park-Neutral switch )
The malfunction is detected when- TCM does not receive the correct voltage signal from the swich based on the gear position.

Check for harnes and connectors ( the circuit could be short or open)

Is your car driveable now ? does it start ?

Thats all the help i can provide now - get the FSM - it has lots of priceless info.

Nick.

this is my problem, now even tho this is old, i would like to bring it back up in hopes of somebody knowing a answer to this problem? how can i fix my issue... i believe this is what is keeping me from driving my car normally with my lights on. with my lights on my car will not shift past 3rd gear. but with it off it works absolutely fine.
