'97 Maxima: What are common "watch out"

items I should be looking for? I am buying the car used with 185,00km on it. It is a 1997 model with a 5 speed manual transmission. I am having it checked out through a 128 point check list. Apart from that, would you recommend from your experience what are some common problems I should be watching out for?

Thanks.

One common problem on a '97 is the alternator, there is a recall for '97 models as well as some early '98s

alternator isnt really a problem, since the recall is free. nothing really to look out for, just make sure the knock sensor was changed, and the condition of the o2 sensors. since you got a LSD, might want to get the oil flushed and changed since winter is here. i might do mine next year. and welcome to the Org
