263whp/247wtq NA

I spent 1.5 hours on the dyno tonight playing around with the setup and tuning. I managed to finally improve on my previous best of 249whp and get several consistant 260whp numbers. The best two of the bunch are here:

These numbers are SAE corrected and the dyno run files are here .

13.0-13.5 is ideal for these cars when tuning for all out NA power. It really isn't too lean for a NA car.

No EGTs.

New sig below.

Damn that's nice. I guess you'll let us know what mods you're currently running when you are ready. Are you still tuning the car with the SAFC II? So how does 260 whp feel?

Because of the way things work around this place I am not going to post my mod list anymore. I am just going to keep posting my new and improved dynos as I get them.

Yes the SAFC-II is vital. Without it I would be missing 10-15whp at the peak, and down on power just about everywhere on the graph. The A/F would look terrible too.

The power feels great as you would expect. The problem is that I can't really run away from other fast cars untill late in 4th gear because of the 6600rpm rev limit crap.

I understand. However I'm not only interested as a member of the Maxima community but also as a potential customer. I thought part of your intentions were to develop and sell a product. If that's still the case please PM me.

You haave cams in there SR? Tomei cams would get you to like 280-290 whp but might drop off thr torque a lot, and the Tomei's would be better with an extended limiter. Awsome numbers though, guessing you have JWT cams in there already?

Umm, wow. That's like 310 HP and 290 TQ. Close numbers to the new 350s and G35s. I would like to see how your dyno compares to a stock 350/G35. Do you still plan on making a business out of the IM tweaking? And yes, please come to the Haines point meet, your car is a serious beast.

That dyno is more incentive to modify my 03 max.. yours must be a serious sleeper with all of that power under the hood... my friends stock Z managed to pull 238rwhp on a dyno and this max is looking at 260s... nuts.. good job man.

Wrong.

I WAS trapping 106-107 last March with less power and a heavier vehicle.

Still, your best track time is 13.19@107 until you beat it (not saying you wont easily).

BTW, do you think the removal of the AC belt made a significant difference?

Think about the question. Of course it made a difference. Question is, "Did it make a significant difference?" Significant is different for everyone. If you call significant ~5WHP then yes. Some people don't call y-pipes significant.

My butt dyno said it wasn't significant if I could even tell it was missing. Also, I used a 4 rib belt, not a 6.

Tilley, since we're on the topic now, did you ever check on that clutch hardline? Even if you don't want to trade I'll buy it off you.
