Can you have H&R springs with the Maxima stock shocks? Do you have to change the shocks? Whats the difference having stock shocks or aftermarket shocks with the H&R springs?

stock ones will go bad becauase your not stock anymore. Your struts wont be able to take the pressure for too long.

Im still on my stock struts and I have had the H & R springs on my car for about 2 years. I also got the car brand new and I lowered it when i had about 5000 miles into it. I am going to be getting some new struts probably at STILLENS open house or through my work. The struts have held up pretty well. I just dont know how many miles you have on the car. I suggest you buy both struts and the springs at the same time and have them installed also at the same time because of the labor costs. Hope that helps.

Im still dying to find out whether or not the stock SE's shocks manufactured by tokico are truly the same as the aftermarket blues! I posted teh question earlier when my mod shop friend said he checked the part no. and said they were identicall from the manufacturer! But im still skeptical

I remember your post abouot the Tokico's. What about the GLE's shocks? Any mention of those? I have the H&R's waiting to be installed and want to try to get buy without new shocks for a little while. I have about 50k miles on the stocks ones. But if I have to get new shocks that's no big deal either. Thanks.
