Nissan dealer wants $3400 for a reman tranny w/ new radiator. This includes all fluids/seals, etc. and a loaner car. Is this a fair deal?

hey don!!!

Just emailed you..hmm, how can i do a burn out like that w/o messing up my tranny? Dont like to drop it from n to 1...i think its bad for the tranny..


i got a refub. tranny for 22oo from the dealer in GG..so JJ, check in the papers for some used tranny. i believe i saw a couple in the papers for like 800 at most. take cares and good LUCK!!! JJ, did you have dons vb?

Thats just hitting it in 1st gear (but its at the track). I've never tried it on the street (tires are too expensive)...Did he have the VB? Nope...thats why he's having these problems..right Jim, hehe....

all that smoke came from lighting it up in 1st?? How much power was going thru those wheels? Are you S/ced?

If you look closely, he just got out of the burnout area. Most of the smoke is probably steam. I doubt he would have used NOS in 1st gear.

Its pure burning rubber, buddy....Russ2KSE took that pic last summer....Its ALL first gear!!!

Yep, didn't everyone have tranny problems with there 5th gens? Yep basically so. But it was wet, flooring it and spun like mad created a big cloud of smoke where you could not see my car
