Help me make a decision, have a choice between two 2002 SE's

Price is the same on both

1 Sterling mist/ Black Leather, Navi, bose, sunroof 44k miles

2. Majestic Blue / grey leather, bose, heated seats 54k miles

I reallly love the blue color , but the other one is more attractive due to the miles and its in slightly better condition. What would you pick? THe lbues got dent on the rear bumper and has had the headlight stolen before.

Sterling one is untouched, only flaw is maybe a chip in the windshield...and its got NAVI, have not seen any other Maxima in my search with a Navi, how is it?

But i LOVE the blue!!!

Help !!

both carfaxes came back clean

i'd get the blue one, You can always fix it up... The condition will always be fixable, and your going to only use it yourself, so it's going to happen sooner or later : /

Either case, i'd go for what's cheaper, and if the prices are similar, i guess navi is pretty sweet bonus.

yeah, the price edge goes slightly to the blue one. 60k warranty on the tranny is up soon though, but Blue = Sweeet!!

um i would say the sterling is a much smarter buy.. why would you want a car that has been messed with so much. headlights stolen, dents, scraches, blue=bad.. the blue car has a bad past and it will take it out on you in the future..

get the Sterling car. the sunroof is really nice. and navi looks much better, you have lower mileage. its the smarter buy by a long shot and the color you will fall in love with no matter what, cause the car will soon become a part of you and it will gain its own character no matter what the color is

well lets see when i went to by my max it was between silver and satin blue pearl, it was hard to pick because i like blue as well, i wanted silver cuz it looked more of a highclass color u know makes it look more luxurious. But what made it easier was that there was no silver ones at the time and the blue one was there and it stood out from the common colors so i went with the blue one... hope this helps in ur decision.

Stirling Mist. My hunch says it's the one to go for.

Get the sterling. Dark blue looks nice....when its clean. Hard to keep clean. Also the lighter interior allows more stains to show. So sterling with black leather and navi and less miles. Hands down sterling silver. My .02

although the blue is my favorite color, the features, mileage, condition, and black interior of the silver makes it the winner in my book.

I really do love the blue though :-/

thanks for the input guys, for what its worth I'm still torn....

btw both have a sunroof and bose, the sterling one has as 6 changer in the trunk due to the Navi, the Navy Blue has the changer right in dash.

I know the sterling one is a smarter choice, but I'm still torn. If someone says to me that the NAVI sucks a$$, then I'd opt for the heated seats and get the blue.

Also the sterling needs new tires, but it has nice dark tints all around. I'd also want to add heated seats at some point to it, so thats definately a consideration, if its doable I'd lean more toward the sterling one

I'd go with the Meridian car if that's your location. Plus, its the color you want and that's more important... right?

I have to agree with I30swimmer. It's a smart buy. less damage, lower
mileage, and you really don't know the history of the mystic blue. Go with
the Sterling. You won't regret it...

I like the Sterling Mist, but then again, that's what I have. Bottom line: You are going to be making payments on this car for a while. Get the one that you really love. I bought a car once thinking with my logical side and not what I truly loved. I began to hate that car within 6 months. End of story: I traded it in after a year for what I really wanted and ended up upside down on payments. Good luck with your decision.

I love the Majestic Blue On my 2k1 AE Max...But if it got problems Leave it alone because its probably dirty. I'd say i love the blue but in your situation the sterling Mist is your best option. because if it does give you problems your gonna regret picking it beacuse of its color blue. But because the sterling mist has less miles you are covered longer with your manufacture warranty.. and because the condition is better you will take care of it preventing what damages the Blue one already has........your going to have to do some process of elimination here..So goood luck!

I too love the Majestic Blue, which is the color of my car, but from the information given, the sterling mist colored car is your best buy.

I'd say the sterling mist one too. Main reason is that you don't know what other problems the majestic may have had. The lights, the dents, the lack of navi, the higher miles, yes the color's hot, but then again so are the amenities that the sterling mist has. I know how you feel about that color, I just saw a 2k1 here in missouri that had it, it was sweet, even though it was stock because of that color! Sterling mist is not a bad color, and since I know you need the car soon, I'd snag it while you can I'm sure in the long run if you were to get the blue one you might wish you hadn't. good luck bro!

Nav boosts the demand and resale value in case you want to sell it after a year or two. I'll go with the Sterling Mist

why dont you keep on looking for another blue max in better condition? it is not like that is the only one out there. dont buy a car that needs repairs... bad idea, and if you really like the blue then keep on looking for one in better condition. and maybee it will have a navi as well, and low miles!!

Sterling no doubt its in better shape lower miles and has NAV, you will get alot of people that has never seen nav in a car in person wowing over it. Go ahead and spend a few hundred bucks on tires..........you will have a better car.

I have a 03 blue with every feature that came out for the max. The navi is awesome and so is the heated seats. I really really love the blue color(my favorite color yet), but it scratches really really easy and the front bumper and hood chips like a mother *****. So take that into consideration. I would go with the sterling just because it has less miles and the navi.

Are both M/T? if you don't get a manual, you'll regret it! I bought the automatic because of my job and traffic. Well, now I relize that they make hands-free kits for the phone and I can always take the back way. I regret it every time I think of how much fun it would be in a manual.

im sure he realizes that but there are other things involved here, and it may or may not be his car, also he needs a car rather soon as his commute doesnt stop and one car with two drivers doesnt get the job done, i still say go with the sterling mist bro

Nissan made gazillions of these cars, bro! Decide exactly what you want, then go find it - it's out there and waiting for you. Color, trans, and so on. You don't need to compromise on the big stuff. And the small shyte like Nav or heated seats can be added later if you find yourself cold and lost. Why settle for A or B on some dealers' lot?

I'd go w/the Sterling. Lower miles and sounds like more options. If it's got Nav, then it's also got Bose, leather, etc...

Which 18s? They were both taken w/ S-Tech drop. SSRs were 18x8.5 w/ 37mm offset and the other set is 18x7.5 w/ 35mm offset. Zero rubbing w/ pretty bad roads around here.
