The Apexi WS is the best quiet option... the muffler is stainless and the rest is coated. This is also the cheapest (good) catback.

If you want loud then get either the Greddy or the Stillen, but you'll pay double or more for a mod that does not give much HP anyway.

I have asked the same question a couple of months ago (I also want to increase performance without waking up the neighbors and I like a quiet ride). Most agree with the Apexi. I have not purchased one yet. But I have a feeling I will be soon since my original has 85k. Would anyone like to share how long their stock muffler lasted for so I can have an idea when I need to order my new Apexi.

My stock muffler lasted about 60K. Can you buy the Apexi WS muffler by itself or is it only sold as the full catback system?

What's a fair price for the Nissan 2K muffler with the valve?

Hey blue where did you buy your exhaust? I check Apexi website and it expensive as s**t, and what model do you have…. They show models for Nissan but Maxima were not on the list.

The muffler on my Max is factory and it is still in decent shape after 115k miles. However, it is developing some holes that haven't gone all the way through.
