Good price for exhaust???

Hi boys, I live in Mass, and called Extreme Custom Exhaust in Medford recommended to me by 9maxima5. Here it is, he said he would custom make a b-pipe out of stainless, add a Dynomax Ultraflow Turbo muffler, also stainless, and a nice stainless tip. Muffler will have a flange and a 2.5 outlet. No resonator, he said I would not need one, that the car would sound nice, but not loud. Parts and labor $350.

Does anyone have any input? Good price? Decent muffler? Stainless?
I don't want a double outlet because there is only one cut-out in the bumper.
Thanks for any input.

thats not bad... i don't know the going rate for stainless... but that muffler is a bit more expensive than the super turbo... ummm... you could always get it, and if its too loud have them weld in a resonator...

i think it will be, but since you don't have a y-pipe then you may be alright... id definately get one though eventually...

take pictures of the install...

If I remember from your past dozen threads, you did not want an obnoxiously loud exhaust? A straight pipe + straight through muffler =

Tell the guy you need a resonator. As far as the muffler... it's going to be louder than the super turbo. The ultra flo is truely straight-thru whereas the super turbo is pretty much chambered. Then again, you don't have a y-pipe, so it might sound fairly tame.

Hey, thanks for the reply, you rock dude! They don't make the super turbo in stainless... The guy I spoke to said he THINKS from his experience it will sound good. So I think I may go with it. He also asked me if I wanted a dual tip or a single. I told him single, because my rear bumper only has a cut-out for one tip. And he also asked me if i wanted a 2.5inch tip or a 3 inch tip, I told him probably a 2.5 would be fine. I guess you're right, if it's too loud I'll have him weld in a resonator........

Okay, this is good, this is the type of feedback I need, so I'm not kicking myself in the a$$ when I leave the place with something obnoxious. I will have him weld in a resonator, and I will go with a super turbo muffler, even though it isn't stainless. Thanks man....
