Heel-Toe Shift and drift
I just wonder how many of you have really mastered heel-toe shifting.....(its pretty hard)
Also, after watching Initial D (a japanese anime) I was wondering how hard would it be to drift a maxima, or drifting is more for RWD cars?

thats a pretty tight show. i wish we could do that.lol. anyways i found out that you can not drift in a front wheel car. how do i know. 1)sources on the net and the all the ppl i talk too say you cant.2)experience by pulling the "opps bar" (e-brake)and letting my rear wheels lock up while gassing it around a corner.(40mph)3)if you can do it like the pro's do then i give you madd props. peace brian
p.s.=oh i got some video photage of us trying to do it. all of us from mx-6,maxima,bmw,and a mustang. preety funny. if i can find out how to put the video on the net then all of you can watch it.peace

you can drift a fwd
you can drive an FWD car, but it wont be as prolonged or spectacular as a RWD car. there are pictures of a guy drifting his nasty old dedicated drifter civic in super street last year some time... he had a little crew called the slide squad or something like that...

I you have speedvision, check out their GT cup races--you can see mad drfting in all types of cars. The last race I watched had some civics, some bmw's...it was really cool. In fact the winner was an integra type R.
It's probably pretty easy to drift out a max as compared to, say, and accord, with the amount of torque they push in comparison to most FWD cars.

well then...
guess im wrong then. just that all the pro's i talked to say its impossible to do a "real drift" in a front wheeel car compared to a rwd. well i guess ill keep on tryin then. nah, had enough of that already. peace brian
