just about everytime i have seen this code, it has turned out to be the maf. its either P0171 or P0174 for the opposing bank. i have never received it, just passing along what i have seen as a typical result around here.

Its a MAF...I had P0171 and P0174...both banks lean, due to the faulty MAF.

My MAF just blew this morning. I need to order a new one. Anyone know where I should get it from? Someone mentioned Dave at Town North Nissan before, anyone have his contact info?

If your 2K Max is throwing a code P0171 and is also experiencing rough idle or stalling at startup for the 1st minute or so, it's definetly the MAF. With this failure mode, the MAF is on its way out, but not gone yet. This happened to me at 80K mi and the engine still rev'd above 3500 RPM and drove fine within two minutes of a cold start.

Yup, it's the MAF. I had the exact same problem and fixed it with a new MAF from DaveB. Runs like a champ now and no more stalling at startup.

YES I have the SAME EXACT problem as you P0171 code and power dies between 4500-5000 RPMS. I am gonna have a shop look at the car and diagnose the problem, if I find out what it is I will tell you. Stay in touch!! BTW i will probably fix the problem myself so I will tell you how to do it if it is complicated.
