Max in super street
Max in super street
Hey guys, im steppin up here from the 4th gen forum. Today i was reading Super Street(dec issue) and in the tech section, someone asked about tuning a max, blah blah blah, they mentioned a featured car last may. I was wondering if anyone here knows of it or owns it. Thanks for the time of day, peace.
also saw an orange one(like copper sunburst or one of those colors) in s.s. It was s/c 3.0 auto, bbk, body kit, carbon hood, katskinz, it was pretty nice, and i believe the guy actually drives it, it was not a trailer queen.I will check my back issues and come up with a name for you.
You guys know anyone that wants to buy it? I have a new money pit now that needs pistons, rods, sleeves, etc...No really, thanks for noticin' it and I'm happy to be representing us Maxima owners!
And yes, I do drive it! I drove it on the SS tour last year from Phoenix to Atlanta
(over 2k miles)
right behind Huricane Ivan!!! It was a blast!!!The front "fascia" is getting repainted tomorrow from all the rock chips.
By the way, I just threw a couple of things up 4 sale in the classified section...Check it out. Stillen Big Brake Kit, brand new!!! Some used coilovers...

I saw and heard this thing in person on Saturday....
Paint, kit, hood, SC, FMIC, 6pot BBK, rims, are amazing, however the fiberglass/interior work is unreal. Twin polished 15lb N20 bottles for NX kit and Ntercooler is over the top. Stereo is mind/ear blowing...even with the front doors open the windows/roof/doors were flexing like they were going to blow out.
Awesome car Mark...pleasure seeing it and you've got my vote for MOTM and I wish I could see how you'd place at the NOPI Nissan meet at Firebird Raceway in March.

Thanks Alex. It was a pleasure meeting you and your son also. He looks like he will be a future Maxima owner! I hope the brakes work out for you.
I think I will be at the Tuner Bash in Daytona Beach on the same day as the Nopi Nissan meet. If I still own the Max, I will try to get the car there anyway. Maybe Devon will take it.
Im sure I will see you around.
Mark
BTW, MOTM would be hot!

I was in Jackson. Did you see it at Hooters? That was one of the Tour stops.
I saw a 5th gen 3 yrs ago in Turbo Magazine, it had a badge that said STE, and it had a Mully spoiler, it looked ok..It was two tone..I tried looking for that spoiler but I couldn't find it...I'm surprised SS shows Maximas, usually if it's a Nissan it's either a 350, Sky, or Sil..I hate that magazine..

SS doesn't, that's why it's pretty awesome what Mark has achieved.
