Why wont this work for 95/96 Clears

Why wont this work for us 95/96 guys. I know this is probably a stupid question and i am prepared to be flamed. But I am just curious as to what makes our lights so different.

97+ have plastic inserts
95-96 are painted that color if I'm not mistaking.

Yeah, soul fly got it.

Apparently you can just pull the inserts out of the 97-99, but the 95/96 tail lights have the amber lenses as part of the whole fixture.

97's have a yellow plastic insert behind the white part

95/96's the actual plastic lense is amber...

OK i get ya. I may perhaps just paint my ambers over with Testors Candy Apple Red. It may look ok. Anyone do this yet

I'd paint the amber part black, I really like the way that looks.

Ive got a dark green max. I think im just gonna do exactly that. And tint out just the ambers. And the other 2 panels that are red im just gonna leave red. And the clear im gonna leave clear I think it might look hott

Theres a guy from CT with a dark green 95/96 who blacked out his ENTIRE tail lights... but it looks a whole lot better with red/black turn signals

You should be banned not flamed. This is clearly explained in the damn FAQ if I recall correctly. I'll make sure this thread is closed
