how do i test my ABS?
is there a diagnostic test i can do for my ABS. My light isnt on but i think there is something wrong with my ABS. when i slam on the brakes they make a grinding sound. i have brand new pads and rotors. and when i did them 1 of the pistons on caliper was a pain in the a** to compress so i just replaced that as well. it never made that noise before.
It sounds like the piston was seized so the ABS wasnt working b4. Now that you fixed everything the ABS now works the grinding noise is the brakes pumpimg themselves. That is normal.
