My 99 maxima failed NJ inspection&I got some Q's...

Hey guys, my car failed NJ inspection last night and I'm going over the chart they gave me and I see only two tests that my car failed. One was "MIL command status" and the other was "Overall OBD system result" The car passed the safety tests but failed the "OBD/Emissions" tests. I have a check engine light on as well, so basically should I go back for an inspection after resetting my ECU? Also, I remember that there's a page with ECU codes and methods to read the codes..can anyone hook me up with that? Thanks.

Edit: I found the ECU diagnotic thread. Thanks.

CEL on is an instant rejection.

Pull the codes and fix the problem.

Just resetting it isn't going to help, once they plug into your OBD port they'll see any errors the ECU is tracking and reject you again.
