Need help with Borla

Hey guys, I've decided I want to get a Borla Pro XS muffler and have custom piping ran from it back to the cat. My only question is how do I choose which one to get? I know I want 2.5", but there are centered inlet/outlets, centered inlet/offset outlet, offset inlet and outlet, etc... Which of these do I choose for a '97 Maxima SE? Also would you go resonated or unresonated for the b-pipe with a Borla? Thanks for your time

I would chose center inlet/Center Outlet. In any case you should ask whoever is going to make the custom b-pipe. As far as the resonator it depends on how loud you want it.

Thanks for the reply, for the b-pipe I think I sorta answered my own question and decided I'd rather go resonated since I plan on adding a budget y-pipe later on, and I hear catbacks sound awful when you combine a y-pipe and an unresonated b-pipe. The centered inlet/centered outlet was what I was looking for though, thanks!

The stock muffler is offset inlet/center outlet I believe and so is my Apexi ws. Thing is, it doesn't really matter since you're getting custom piping done at a shop anyway. They'll have both the piping and muffler together, right? They can make either one work.

That's true, I just didn't know if there were any advantages to getting one muffler configuration over another. Like it would be easier to have straighter piping with less bends when going with a certain configuration but it sounds like it doesn't really matter. Thanks again for all the help! I can't wait until I go home for a short break in March from college so I can do this!
