We know about how Nissan recasted the VG30E in 87. This tells exactly what is different from the A/B blocks in the 84-86 VG30E, and the W Block in the 87 and newer blocks. Definately an interesting way of reducing engine noise and increasing power.

It shows where you can find those markings. Though some of those you'd have to have your engine taken apart!

oh crap, nevermind, I guess I really don't care that much if my engine could possibly be more quite and more powerful

i blew by this page a few times looking for a markl saying when or where i could find when my motor was made when my timing belt broke, i figured it not important so i just left it....oh well

i'm in salem now though, parents decided i needed new tires but its time for a new thread
