a guy on the V6P forum just asked about a 2004 I35. i had never seen one, so i checked out infiniti's site, and the body style looks just like they did previously, like the 5.5 gen maximas. i would have thought they would change it with the 2004 Max bodystyle. it even says it still has the 255 HP motor, which is what the 2K2/2k3 Max has.

so to simplify, the 2K4 and 2K5 I35 is more like the 5.5th max than the 6th gen max, is that correct?

 

Yes that is correct but I dont think there will be an 05 I35.

There is no 2K5 I35, but yes the 2k4 I35 did not change like the Maxima did

 

I think they are a great value and great looking car. If I didn't want a stick so bad when I bought my car, I would've picked up a I35, too bad they never sold much.

 

and you can get DVD based NAV on them that is same as on G35 and other new nissans...pops up where 5.5 maxima clock is. very nice.

 

Wrong! They also used a CD based NAV
