went LED crazy on the interior, PICS

ive been really bored lately so i ordered 50 leds from the GD section and just started converting what i could ot leds. so far all ive done is the dome light, hazard and defroster button and the auto climate control, and im working on the guages. special thanks goes to warriow for his great write ups and answering my questions.

here is a picture of what ive done so far on the guages. i put 5 leds directly under the speedo face. 4 arround the perimeter and one right under the needle, which was hard as hell to get there cus of the odometer mechanisms. im also using 2 custom maxima 194 bulbs. thats why certain areas are kinda dim and dont match. im going ot order 5 of thoes wedge led 194 bulbs for the cluster. should look pretty nice when its all done.

here is the dome light. i took out the stock bulb and drilled in 8 5mm white LEDs. again, the pictures dont do it justice, in person it looks pretty good.

ane here are the hazard and defroster buttons, and the climate control. they came out ok, i kinda wish i used blue instead of white leds. ill also change the color of the clock and climate control screen when i buy some cellophane paper. in the picture the climate control doesnt look too good, but its pretty nice in person, again, wish i used blue.

next up after the guages are done comes the window switches, key ring and door lights.

Looks very nice so far. You should do the white clock mod to make it match better than the stock green color.

ya i intend to do the white clock mod, and make the climate c0ontrol screen white too, just didnt have any ellophane paper handy.

the rating on the LDCs are 4000mcd

i used the how-tos at the above link for the guages, dome light and hazard/defrost buttons. the site only had a write up for manual climate control, so to do my auto CC i had to kinda figure it out for myself, wasnt too hard tho.

i was gonna change the LEDs in my BOSE headunit too, but i intend to get a fold out pioneere avn head unit in a few months.

Looks good. Once you go with the white clock it will look even better!
