Car got stuck in snow. Got out and noticed a puddle of yellow solvent on snow

After getting my car out of snow (going back and forth for 5 min), I saw a puddle of yellow solvent on snow. I was thinking it was coolant. I couldn't smell anything though. Any coolant hose underneeth the car that I could have possibly ruptured?

The only one under the radiator I might say. Check the reserve sometimes when the car is really hot and the reserve is too full it will get rid of some coolant...

Maybe Your Max Pee'd! That's What Happened To Mine When I Got Stuck In The Snow, My Max Freaked Out And Pee'd All Over The Place! J/k Bro! I Could Only Think Of It Being Coolant, But Our Max's Have Killer Cooling Systems And Can Handle Extreme High/low Temps, But With The Pressure Load You May Have Put On The Max Trying To Get Outta The Snow, Even That Should Not Have Damaged Anything- Was The Snow Really Frozen Or More Of A Wet Type Of Slushy Snow- Maybe You Hit An Iceberg Like The Titanic!

It was soft snow. It's probably my coolant and yes there's yellow coolant. Not all coolant is green. So I shouldn't worry about busted coolant hose or anything?

If youre using aftermarket coolant, it could be yellow. OEM is green.

only thing i can think of that might get hit underneath the car with a yellowish fluid is brake fluid. its typically clear when new but turns more of a yellow, melted butter color as it ages. i would think that you would be able to notice something like that pretty quick but it did come to mind.

I just parked the car in my garage because it was freakin -2. I'll check the fluid level tomorrow. I should go under the car and check for leaks but it's just too cold.

This is usually formed from snow touching the flexible part off the Y pipe or cat...kind of chemical reaction.....working in an Infinity/Nissan/Kia dealership and got alot of complains up here from customers regarding those yellowish thing in the snow during winter season.

Now it makes sense. Location of the stain on snow was very close to the cat. Thanks for the info!
