Whats an average weight for 17" Rim/Tire/Inflated ???
I just got my Moda R-6's today an they weight 54 pounds each with the tire and 38 PSI. I couldnt believe that they weighed so much, tomorrow when I put them on Im gonna weight the factory 16" and see how they compare.
That's pretty damn heavy. My Mustang GT rims (17x8) and heavy Firestone SZ50s(235-45) only weigh about 42-44lbs total mounted. It's less now w/ the Kuhmo 235-45.

interesting..
My 16" ROH rims which are supposed to be here sat or sun weigh 15.5 each, tire weighs 25 lbs. I think the stock 4th gen SE rim weighs about 18-19 lbs. Since the combo weighs somewhere around 42-43 lbs.
A light 17" is something 21 lbs or less I guess...

wheels/tires
my Team Dynamics Monza's in 17x7 on my civic weighed 20 lbs a piece, with tires inflated was 47lbs, with very little pressure it was 44lbs. so the compressed air does weigh a bit. tires are heavier than wheels unless you have some really heavy chromies....

I think around 40 lbs for the tires and wheels
I weighed my 17 X 7 nippon racing wheels with the Toyo Proxes FZ4 205/40/17 and they were 40 on the dot.
Then I weighed my 17 X 8 GS400 wheels with the 235/45/17 tires and they weigh 43 lbs.
