new rims ------ AXIS HIROS on w/ PICS

Well my rims finally got here Friday. It's been a long road from my old rims (Exel DL46) to the Axis Hiros. The Exels had to go since they wouldn't fit over my 300zx calipers. Give me about a month and I should have pics of the front and rear 300zx conversion. I can't believe nobody has put the rear kit from Matt on yet..... The rotor to spoke clearance on these rims is about 3.1" compared to the Exel which were 2.25". I now finally have enough room for those bulky calipers.

I haven't posted any pics of the Left Coast Tuning eyelids that I got awhile back so here they are aswell...

Oh and before anybody asks.... these are 19x8.5 rims w/ a 35mm offset. They fit so much better than my old rims which had a 46mm offset. They're wrapped in Toyo Prozes FZ4 235/35/19ZR.

that looks awesome man. ive been tryin to decide for a while between hiros and milanos, especially now that the hiros come in gunmetal. im 99% sure im goin with the milanos, plus, i cant look EXACLTY the same, we already have 75% of the same kit, same color car and same eyebrows, haha.

again tho, looks good.

Well these are the same tires that I had with my Exels.... so I just kept them. Triple8sol is running the same tire on same size rim and he assured me it was okay.... and yes was. 235's work just find on 8.5" rims.

KCMC582 - I wanted them in that gunmetal color, but they've been on backorder for about 8 months now with no sign of returning so I descided to just get the silver. They're so bright.

I have 18% formula one tint..... and I'm already dropped w/ Maxspeeds. Even with 19's the 235 tires are a tiny bit smaller than the stock 17's w/ tires.

The new rims look awesome. I can't wait to see the Z32 brake setup. I always wanted some nice big gold calipers in my wheels.

Damn, WildmanAL, your car is what I want mine to look like. I love those wheels, but I'm afraid that the Hiros will soon become the next Evo5s. It seems like everyone's getting them now.

The ride really isn't much different than stock, but of course now I have to go slow over bumps and watch where I drive.

Two more pics. It's hard to tell from these pics, but my eyelids are carbon fiber.

Damn Barry, once again your car makes me envious. Did you ever end up finding a buyer for your old rims?

Hey thanks for the compliment. I did find a buyer on my last set of rims. I haven't heard anything from the guy since I sent them to him.... I guess he liked em.

SEmy2K2go yeah I have both front and rear 300zx calipers and brackets. I'm going to get drilled and slotted IRotors pretty soon. As soon as the rotors come in I'll get the front brakes on and then maybe another week before the rear will be on. I'm a little low on $$ right now. I just recently moved, bought rims, and changed jobs so there is a lot going on right now.

Dude I made the same mistake and asked something that was already answered. See how distracting these wheels are?
