hello...new member here
hi, i just joined this board and would like to say hi to everyone. i bought this car from my cousin who some of you on this board might know. he has been a member here for a long time. my cousin is named mike and goes by the handle "cumalot". very odd name cuz if you're reading this. i didn't even get it the first time he told me.
i bought his car last december. i'll be graduating from high school in june. i needed a good reliable car for college. i'll be attending a college in state, but far from home. so i needed a car. i have always liked my cuz car. it's the way i like it, nice and clean looking. i'm not really into modding the car like my cuz was. so i won't add anything more to the car. doesn't matter as long as it's reliable. he did left a few mods on there. it's a pretty quick car though. there were a few problems with the car before, but he made sure everything were fixed and the car was running perfect before he sold it to me. thanks cuz! i would not know what to do. i'm not a do-it-yourself kind of guy like him. all i know how to do is changing the oil. since i'll be attending college far from home, he won't be able to help me if i have any question. plus, he is very busy with work now, so he doesn't have the time. that is why he told me to join this board, so i could ask question if i need to. from what he told me, the people here are very helpful. he just warned me not to ask "stupid questions" or i'll get run out of here.
he gave me this book called a haynes manual. he said it will help greatly. i don't expect to run into any problems because as far as i known him, this car hasn't given him any major problems. and best of all, i bought it at a great price. he sold it to me for only $4500. can't ask for anything more. the car looks like it's in very excellent condition. i think he still browse the board, but only in the off topic section? i won't be on here as often as him though. especially when i start college. i just want to come in here and say hi to everyone.

Brian, hope you are happy with the car. As much as I complained about the car in the past(being an automatic, not fast enough, etc.), the car has served me well. I had the car since I bought it new in '96, so it's time to move on. I'm glad at least the car stays in the family. I know you will take care of it. If you have any questions, you can give me a call. I wil try to help as much as I can.

Not a chance. It's like night and day IMO between the G35 and my Maxima. Could also be this time the car is a stick. I think my cuz got a heck of a car for his first car. My first car was an old rusty Chevy...lol.
