fender crushed (new added pics)

ok so tonite my gf's dad was backing out of the driveway and hit my driver's side fender with the back of his toyota tundra truck. my corner lights broke right out of the housing and the fender wall is rubbing against the tires. what is an estimate of fixin the fender do you think? i can get the new corners no big one but im more concerned about the fender. i mean the tmrow morning be4 i go to school im gnna bang the fenderwall up with a hammer to keep it from rubbing w/the tire and interfereing with the shocks. should i do that to the fender wall or should i just leave it alone i mean its only plastic im gnna post pics prob tmrow so ya can see if i should get a new fender or just take it to a shop please leave some ruff estimates for new fender and/or a shops estimate thnx im also gnna check a local junk yard sometime this week

To get a minor ding taken out of my passenger side fender, I forked over $250. From the sound of your damage, it would cost a good bit more.

I have to get both my fenders fixed cuz of an accident I had, so I got an estimate for it. My car is going into the shop on monday for this. The driver's fender has really minor damage and was estimated at $72 to fix. The passenger fender had a little more significant damage, though still not enough to rub the tires ever and was estimated at $216 to fix. The painting for both fenders and the bumper cover was estimated at $252. Theres also a "materials" item on the estimate at another $252.

What I did for the expensive fender was get a new one shipped to me for about $75 shipped from Virtual Body Shop on Ebay. Chances are, that will turn out to be your best option if you have to pay for it. I can't vouch for fitment yet, but I will surely post about it once the work is done in about a week.

Hopefully this gives you some idea what you are looking for. You can see pictures of the way my fenders look here: http://northsidedrive.com/images/incident/

I called all kinds of junkyards and found it basically impossible to find a fender in my color in good condition. People with max's tend to run into things, so there aren't many. Good luck with it.

yea only the plastic fender wall is rubbing on the tires not the metal and lets put it this way your passenger side fender looks good compared to my fender, it is completely cushed in to the point where the front of the tire is partially unprotected

he said he has to get a price on the fender. 80 just to paint it + price of the fender, or 135 to have it installed and painted + price of the fender

How big was this ding? I mean, you can get paintless dent removal and have a handful of dings and have them take them out for like 150 bucks. I have a few that I am taking out this week. The guy is gonna come to my place and do it in the garage. Did they have to paint your car or something?

Yeah, I had to get the fender repainted. I think someone hit me when they were parking.

Driver's side fender needs to be replaced

Estimate for replacing the fender, painting, and blending the adjoining panels to match so it doesn't look like a 4-year-old did it with a spray can.

Go to your local dealership and find out where they send their cars for repair. I did this because then I knew the shop would be familiar with my car and not do a poor job.
