AE Headlights... Clear those bebes

Can you clear out the orange corners of AE headlights? my belief is no but whats the real deal?

Yes, just change to the Polarg G34 or similar bulb.

even if u look at it for about 5 seconds u can tell there is no yellow lense....

take the bulb out, spray it with a thin coat of silver enamel paint...then it will not look orange, except when the bulb is actually ON.

Sylvania Silverstars have blue turn signal bulbs that burn legal orange. I've had in my AEs for almost a year. I'm happy with them. Just a thought. There's a headlight shot on my homepage.

i use the silverstars in the turn signals as well, and on my 5th gen and they look very clean and give off orange light. i would use thises. they are pricey but you get exactly what you want.

i think u can get a paid for liek 15$ at pepboys... they are like titanium and blink orange.. i was gonna get some.. but haven't had the time.. i just installed some AE's on my car!

Scroll about three-quarters of the way down the page until you see "Silver Chrome." Basically the effect you get when you paint the bulb yourself, but it's already been done for you. I got the 7440 bulbs in chrome for my HIDs after I cleared the turn signal and you can't see any orange. And they DO flash orange, so it's perfectly legal.
