This is whats going on to my car:

When the car is standing still i have no heat just cold air comes out,
but when i start to drive my car the heat starts to come out.
Anyone knows what is going on. Its cold in New Jersey i need my heat.
Please Help

 

wow 2nd thread today about lost heat.

Is your car fully warmed when you have the heat on? if its not then that could be the solution.

Do you get no heat at all fully warmed no heat? put it on the hottest and full blast no heat?

 

yes that car is fully warm, and no heat comes out. even when i drive for 30 minutes, when i stop cold air starts to come out. but as soon as i start to drive it will start to get warm. its pretty weird

 

Check your coolant level, both in the reserve bottle and in the radiator.

If your rad. cap is bad, your radiator could be low, but the reserve might show fluid.

 

I had a friend who had the same problem on a blazer. He changed the thermostat and it went away. If the coolant is ok and everything is fine check the thermostat.. Good luck..

 

hey njmaxseltd, where did you find your LEbra for your 99? because i think it looks pretty darn good i wanted to try and pick one up somewhere.....how much did you end up having to shell out for that one that comes down and around the foglights

 

Thats a genuine Nissan nose mask. I have the Lebra hood only mask as well. I think I got the Nissan mask from ebay for about 150. The hood only Lebra was like 50 bucks, ordered that from a local performance shop.
