what type of gas for 91 max

Got a 1991 maxima brougham edition. I just was wondering if you guys can tell me what type of gas does it use? i've been useing mid grade for it but it's getting too expendsive. Does this car take regular gas? Would save me a lot of money.

vg = 87 no problem
ve= 87 no problem ASSUMING you havent changed the timing from stock, have a good knock sensor and are in proper tune, it will however cost you some power.
