I got a question about taking out the rear speakers that are non bose. To take out the speakers do I have to pry off the grills from inside the car? The only place I see screws is coming down into the trunk. You can see the threads sticking out. Do I need to take off the grills to unscrew them? Thanks for the help.

lemme put it this way

NO MATTER WHAT U DO u ahve to take off the rear seat, unless u brake the whole back thing off but then it will look like ****, they are oversize so make sure when ur buyin new speakers to get mounts, i custom mounted them from underneath(DX6) sound great now.

You have to take out your whole rear seats. Then pop out your rear barke light if you ahve it. Then you must pop off the two side rear pillars (where the seat belt is). Then you must pop off the rear deck covering. Then you can remove the rear speakers.

Rear speaker replacements

Steve- What are you replacing the stock rears with? another pair of stock speakers or upgrading your sound? Over the weekend, Synki and I discovered slight problem when we removed the backseat/cover of my car....
