Good Day All -
Normally I wouldn't open a new thread as soon as I join a forum, but I'm really getting desperate to find this information & hopefully someone here will be able to help me out.
I recently became the proud (?) owner of an '82 Diesel Maxima. I now have the car in what I consider to be streetable condition, however I am in desperate need of wiring diagrams (In particular dash/guage cluster wiring) and vacuum diagrams. I have the Chilton 73-84 repair manual, however the diagrams provided in it are minimal & do not provide the info I need. If any one knows of a source for (or has & would be willing to sell/trade/copy/whatever) factory diagrams & could pass it on I would be forever indebted.
Also, any fellow diesel owners out there - Have you had any experience with vacuum pump failures/problems? I recently replaced the alternator and removed the old vacuum pump & placed it on the new alternator. I now get an intermitent vibration which I am almost sure is coming from the vacuum pump - Any ideas?

Hi, Lucky you:} The diesel is a nice car. Try looking at E-bay and see if they have a manual. Sometimes they do get 1 or more up for auction. They actually had the manual you needed 2 weeks ago. Be forewarned, sometimes there is a bidding war for them. Someone here may have one. I have the one for the 1981 diesel, but I have to find it.

Regarding the pump, again maybe someone(s) here can help out. Unfortunately, my search for an 83 diesel isn't going to well:{ Good luck
