Exhaust setup opinions and price question

When I get some ca$h back after buying me some rims, i plan on putting a cat-back exhaust.
Greddy in my eyes is too expensive and from what i have heard, it is somewhat quiet. I want my exhaust to sound mean, lol. ANYWAY, the setup i am looking at is Budget b-pipe w/ resonator [so it isnt TOO loud] and a magnaflow muffler. These two items will add up to be around 300 bucks.

--How much do exhaust shops usually charge to install this and any other 2.5" piping they might need to make and install the muffler to?

--What are your opinions on how this will sound?

I just had my custom exhaust done today.

They made their own pipes and used a glasspack and I got a 'Bullet' muffler, because I didnt get top-of-the-line. They did a FANTASTIC job, took 1.5 hours for them to custom bend, and weld everything and it sounds ****ing great. Loud in the mid-high range and SURPRSINGLY no droning on the hwy.

Four year gaurantee on the pipes, lifetime on the muffler.

Their prices were as followed:
Stock replacement (your choice of chrome tip) - $225
Mid-range (what I did, choice of chrome tip ) - $275
Performance (Full Dynomax or Flowmaster, Stainless tip) - $350

No labor charges, all fully welded systems.

Best decision I've made in quite some time, very pleased!
