Man...they are going to freak when they see my car. I pulled the code, but I haven't able to pin point the exact problem. I think I'm over the warranty period according to the service manager. I thought powertrain was 5 years/ 50K. Anyway, for $68 they will pin point for me, then I'll just replace the part myself. Hope it's a connector or that dropping resistor. Don't feel like dropping the pan and replace the line pressure soleniod.

Dig around for the instructions for ecu dignostic procedures. I think the auto tranny and their own diagnostic also. The ABS ecu also has a diagnostic.

The dealer is only gonna hook up the car to the consult and pull the code. You can do the same for free.

The code is 1205. L/Press SOL/Circ. It's auto tranny problem. FSM shows few areas where the problem could occur. shorts at the connectors, broken dropping resistor or the Line Pressure Solenoid itself. I don't have a multi-meter and most of these diagnostic requires to measure OHM.

Back from the dealer. The dropping resistor is bad. The tech said he never seen the solenoid or this dropping resistor go bad. Anyway, cheap part ~$25. I ordered one from Vester Nissan and it should get to my house by Friday. Thank God I don't have to drop the pan.

I think he just posted in here because it's related to his problem. The moderators need to make up their mind. It appears that when people post about an issue that was made a few months ago people get mad and say repost, this thread sucks, etc. However, when someone posts in an old thread when they have a problem, people get just as annoyed. We need to make up our minds.

I see a lot of discussion concerning going to the dealer for diagnostic checking. What is the best aftermarket OBDII analyzer (for Gen 4)? Autotap.com has a good website. anybody using their equipment??
