It's never gonna happen again, cause it's just pure abuse for my Max. But last weekend, I ended up having to fit a total of 8 people (4 guys [including my self] w/ avg weight of around 150 and 4 girls w/ avg weight of 110 = OVER 1000 extra lbs added!!!) into my Max (stock 95 GXE). Weighed the car down so much that when I went up an inclined sidewalk, I heard back end scrape the floor. Probably the exhaust tip. Funniest thing was that a Civic (the model b4 the newest one out today) pulled up next to me at a light (along Union Turnpike close to St. John's Univ for those in the NYC area) and started revving (I have no tints, so he saw the crowd in my car). Of course he got the headstart, but I eventually passed him and when I pulled over to let everyone out in the SJU parking lot, I noticed he followed (probably going to same show we were) and instead of parking nearby, he drove to practically the other side of the lot. Just thought it was funny at the moment and sure as hell makes me proud of the Max.

So how many people have YOU fit in ur Max? not that it's a good thing...

C'mon.. you know those ladies were more like and avg of 150 to 180....

 

I have fitted 5 people (including myself), and a FULL trunkload of luggage (Back to school from spring break). Much to my suprise, the car still accelerates freely, without much signs of stressing or so.

 

i fit 6.... too scared to fit anymore.. weitht hat many people my car felt very heavy

 

Probably the heaviest load in my car was me and three friends, plus a full keg, and a trunk full of liquor. Do you know how much a keg weighs?!?! On our way to the party, a Del Sol pulled up to me and I took him off the line, but around 60, he passed me. I was being a little cautious....underage, speeding, etc.

 

I have had 7 in my max, not much fun. One of my budies had a 95 accord that had 8 people crammed in and the windshield cracked.

 

we went to get fast food so on they way back they were spilling fries, etc. I was pretty pi$$ed.

 

6 including me, damnit, due to that, my control for my dancing light fell off, and after that someone in my family broke it for good...dammit! 60 bucks down the drain!!!
for now on i am only puttin 3 pple in da back , only 4 if absolutely necessary....

 

I just had 6 today!!! It was me, a 6'4 kid in passanger seat, a couple of 5'8 - 5'10 guys in the back, along with a 6'0 footer and a 5'7 or 5'8 girl.. we are all either skinny or average weight for the height.. but damn, I have to say 1 thing, the car pulls great even full of people!!! I had done this before, once we had 6 including myself and my friends 7 year old brother..

I remember cramming 8 in my dads Mercury Sable, that thing felt like a 3 cyl.

total of 8 people, this was before i had my Greddy and boyyy did that stock exhaust scrape like a *****!, trunk also loaded with liquor on the way to a party.

 

Well I have fit 5 guys (including me) in my '91 Corolla. Two of them were rather heavy. The back end of the Corolla was all the way down, who needs lowering springs when you got heavy people in the back!! My car felt like a 2-cyl when I was driving!! You wouldn't imagine how long it took to get to 60km/h!!!

In the Maxima, the most we have fit is 6 people. They were all average weight/height. It was pretty comfortable for the 4 people in the back actually.

I have also had seven people in my car at once. We all went to Hooters during lunch break in my car and an associates van. The guy ended up locking his keys in the van. So after we ate I had to take everyone back to work clear across town in my car. The funny thing was that we drove right by a cop that was patrolling and he flashed his lights at me when we passed. He just sat there, so I kept on my way. Btw it is quite uncomfortable having that many people in the car (so they said). And yes the car feels very slow.

 

Fit 7 people in my Max once. Only thing I did was pass a truck cause my friend had to go pee.

And we stuffed 8 people into a CRX once. And once we crammed 5 people into a MR2 (the previous gen).

 

total of 6. 2 up front and 4 in the back. My max still drove like I was the only one in it!

let see 2 up front in the pass seat, and 3 in the back lapped up, so thats 6 in the back for a total of 8 passengers. coming back from a house party last summer, my lazy *** friends didn't want to walk down the street to their complex so I piled those SOBs in there and took 'em home. the funniest part was when I'd hit a speed bump...all you'd hear is "OUCH....slow the hell down, sh*t!!!!"

Lol, CRX or CRV? I find that extremely hard unless we're talking riding on top of the CRX.... 8 in the Max seemed tight despite some rather "small" passengers (heh I actually opened sunroof so one person's head could kinda stick out..) Unless of course, we're talking bout 8 really small ppl... and wit the stock engine.. did it even manage to go?? =P


No idea what my final weight total was, (I have some junk in the trunk too....) but all I know is that the Max sure hauls a**

 

Wow you got me beat, I only had two on laps in the back (total of 5 in back, 2 shotgun) and while we didn't have speed bumps, the messed up roads in NYC have the same effect.... braking scared the heck outta everyone too..

 

That's right, 8, but only for 2 miles, after lunch.

I had over 1300 lbs in my car. I AM NOT DOING THIS EVER AGAIN. The bumper was 2 inches from the ground. The front wheel gap was like a foot.

 

I had eight peeps in my max. LoL with 8 peeps you don't need to lower the max at all no more. You know how short and small we asians are! The average height and weight are 5'5" and 140. But I won't maxed it out again. I feel bad for my max.

 

Oh, it was a CRX ... and trust me... never again. Extremely hard was right! The driver was the only one that got a seat to himself. There were two in the passenger seat and then the rest of us pretty much crammed into the back. I spent the 15 minute ride on my knees and bent over so that my chest was touching my thighs.

But we were desperate. Had a huge Halloween block party to go to and some jerks jumpped into our cabs.

 

I had 5 in the car.....3 of them weight over 250 lbs!!! I thought my engine would break towing them

 

5 girls... and 3 guys.... all the girls were in the back.. and 2 guys in the front.. and me driving....

 

Otherwise, me, 2 in the passenger seat, 3 in the back seat with one laying across them for a grand total of 7

I wonder how all those clowns fit in their funny cars.
