Whic wax last longer?

I have been using Meguiar's #26 and I think it last pretty long time. I need to buy another one for the next car wash/wax, and thinking about trying another product. I know some of you may recommend Zaino but I am looking for something available in local stores.

Here are my options:

1. Meguiar's NXT
2. Eagle One Nanowax
3. Mother's California Gold
4. Stick with #26

I read about good reviews on NXT, but some comments that it doesn't last long. Is it true?

Can anyone share the experiences?

I just used NXT and I was very pleased. If you want a really long lasting wax invest 50 bucks and 4 hours and use zaino. Especially if you have a dark car looks unreal.

No carnuba wax is going to have as much durability as a polymer such as Zaino. Many carnubas will last 2 months at best. The longest lasting carnuba that I can recall off the top of my head is One Grand Blitz.

I use #26, and I suggest you stick with it if you are staying with a wax of some sort and not a polymer. Honestly, it lasts me 3-4 months and the same goes for my customers' cars - when they come back after 3 or 4 months, there is still wax on the car.

SunMax you can order Zaino through Lordco. There are a few more places you can get that at, it's buried in my bookmarks somewhere..

I use Mothers as well. Doesn't last as long as I would like.

NXT goes on very easily and comes off even easier, the whole application will take you under an hour and it looks really good after you're done. only problem is that it only leasts about a month until you need to reapply.

Any ideas how much it costs? Somehow Lordco's price is always higher than others.

I found I still have a bottle of 3M wax in storage. So this weekend, I just wash my car with Murphy's Oil soap (to strip off the old wax), then apply Mother's Glaze & Sealant, then 3M. The result is a deep, shiny green Max. Since I only use the 3M once before, I forgot how long it last though.

I used to use Mothers and found it didn't last long either. So now i'm using Menzerna's FMJ Paint protectant. Goes on easy and even easier to remove with the right microfibre.. it lasts the standard 3-4 months.. given the rain we have in BC.

SunMax,
oh and the Zaino thing, it can be ordered directly from Zaino rep in Canada. You can print out a form (from www.zaino.ca) and mail in your order. My friend has done that with his car.
