Hi I can't seem to search the forum. I need the models # for light bulbs on a maxima. The front head lights are 9004 right? what about the side of the signal light? I want to change that light bulb. It's the light bulb on the signal light that stays on when you have your headlights on.

Also what is the highest wattage you can use for your headlight? I dont want to go too high before I burn out the harness. thanks

 

Headlight = 9004
Side Markers (next to headlights) = 1157
side markers on bumper = 192 (194?)
front signal lights = 1156
rear signal = 1156
backup light = 1156
brake lights = 1157

Don't get higher wattage bulbs ... you're asking for trouble. Sylvania Xtra Visions are great for better output.

sylvania.com should list every bulb # in your car(s)

 

Stay with 55w on the stock headlight harness. Owner's manual should have all the light model #s and wattages. My for 1996 does. I think you can even get them in pdf if you don't have your original.

 

Nope ... they don't have one for the maplight though!
