Give your local NISSAN dealership a call, they should walk you thru. What part of MD do you live?

Have you visited the DC forum?

As far as i know, the recall is for the alternator. If your car falls under it, they will tell you (after you call them and give them ur VIN) and replace it for free...it doesnt mean you get $ from them or a new car...just new faulty part

call a dealership and give them your VIN #...they can tell you then

I think the way it works is they take your car away to protect you from fire, then they hand you a rebuilt alternator. You take the bus home.
