Trying to build a mod picture page, need your help.

Seems alot of us are always looking for pictures of other 6th gens, lots of questions on what the different grills, body kits....stuff like that looks like. I am starting to build a permanent site to host all the pics. Call it a nice place to look at all the other different types of mods, different wheels, interior, grill, engine stuff...you name it. I am looking at help from you guys. Will give you credit with your user name under the picture of your car. I do not want to just copy and paste your pics without asking, so looking at getting some pics from your cars with some info on the mod. Will be a nice thing to have and hope I can host hundreds of different pics on my site as a resource to all of us. Hell, I pay for the web space, so might as well use it. Here is just a real quick 5 minute job of what I have in mind, you notice I do not have many pics. I think this might free up some of the needs from users wanting to see pics of different mods and what they look like. Yes, I know might need some work, but hey, willing to help out. If you want your pics hosted under the different mod categories, you can post them in this thread to start a base for me to work with...if it is OK with the moderators....or you can email your pics to me. I will post the pics if I like them or not. This is to be a resource for us....not to judge. The more pics, the better.

Anyone want to start?

hey cool idea. I think that it'll probably alot of time on your part but, it'll be a great help to all those looking to post pics and stuff. I don't have any pics of my car right now but, I'll take some and post them on here....or on your webpage....how do you want to get the pics, BTW? Through email or just post them here?

Great suggestion Carcus. I will try to get pics of my grille, you have a silver one posted, i'll have one that shows how it will look in black.

I am working on it...and the site is probably getting quite a few hits right now. Calling it a night for now. Tek-Niq....I like some of the pics on your site but they are small. Would like to use some of the pics posted a few links down but will not use them without the owners permission. This will take some time from me and a bit of working out on size reduction...but overall, will be a nice project for all of us.

Any more pics posted in the thread, will give you all user name credit and just getting some pics up for now, will get the text on what mod was done under the pics when I can. This site will probably be pretty intensive on 56K computers...but worth the wait. Will do what I can to make everyone happy. Best thing is....your pics will be hosted on my web space....no problem for you. If you want one removed...just let me know.

Well, seems like the site is working fine so far, but what I can see on my browser sometimes is different that what you all can see. Keep posting pics in the thread and when I can get them loaded I will do what I can. I do not want to upset the mods with a mad upflow of pics...but it will eventually take some of the pic load off this server. Plan on making it a link so if anyone wants to check out what something looks like, they have a pic and a username to ask for further info. Again, the site will not be pretty at first....hey, I have a life also and the military gives me little time off, but will do what I can in the free time. Please, do not send me small pics that will distort when I have to make them bigger and if you can, resize the big ones so it is easier on me. Appreciate all of your help. I actually plan on adding another link with pics of just different colored 6th gen Max.....when I get the chance. For now, looks like my plate is full. Will add as many pics as I can until I max out my webspace. Hell, doing nothing with it so figure why not solve a common problem with a simple solution. Smile guys....hitting the rack for the night.

Will take what ya got. Main thing I want to prevent is some people getting pissed when someone hates the mod....and than I get backlash for hosting the pic. I want all pics...the more origional, the better. I know that now people will link from my site to post the pics....I just am the middle man posting pics with permission. You know what I mean, we have seen this before. This is just a resource.

Thanks Tek-Niq for your help.....and everyone else. Post the pics in this thread and I will do the best I can, once I got a nice database, will clean it all up. Hope I did not bite off more than I can chew.

Hehehe, uploaded a few more, still have alot more work to do. I have an issue to attend to this eve, so will probably be all I can do today. I still have alot more work ahead of me.

After work tomorrow, and after I watch my Saw dvd, will pop open the beer and take care of any more. Thanks for the help.

on the wheels page, everyone has 20's and there I am with the 18's...LOL I guess thats variety, you get to see the max with different wheels and in different sizes.
