Warranty question for new Max owner...

This is my first post guys but hopefully not my last. I'm in the market for a new car and was wondering how the warranty would transfer from a private seller. I'm thinking of picking up an 03 Max with less than 20k on the ODO from a private seller. Does that mean I assume the warranty on the car now? I don't want the dealer to give me any reasons not to service my car in the future. (Not that I expect to be there anytime soon). Thanks. Look forward to posting much more in the future.

warrany automatically transfers to the new owner, no paper work needs to be done unless the previous owner got the extended warranty. As long as ur car has less then 36K miles on it, dealers can not refuse you warranty work. oh yeah welcome to the board!

Isn't Nissan's warranty 4 year/60k miles?

I believe the drivetrain is 5yr/60K, and basic warranty is 3yr/36K...

Hope that helps
